Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and made cool New Year resolutions already.

Christmas in Miami

Christmas in Miami

We’re hanging out in Miami waiting for the harbor fireworks tonight then heading for the Keys.  We had a wonderful Christmas spending time with Ron’s brother, Donald, and family for several days.  Their house is extremely festive as they go all out with the decorations inside and out.

Ron is happy he had an opportunity to use tools again and help his brother with some work on their house.

Life aboard continues to be delightful, never boring, and each day is a new adventure.  This anchorage is calm, it has been warm in the 70’s, and we had an opportunity to walk on Miami’s South Beach.  The last few evenings we have been enjoying the Miami city lights reflecting on the water of our anchorage and the full moon peaking in and out of the clouds.

  1. Great to hear all is well down in Florida. Another of our YC friends set off yesterday for Fl then the Bahamas. Reiner and Renata Zeppenfeld boat Maxim 36 or 37 powercat not sure of the name. They had a Maxim sailboat called Nati. Great people. You may meet them! Happy safe sailing New Year to you.
    Cheers, Olwen and Bill

  2. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2013 filled with sunny sailing days!

  3. Looks and sounds like you’re having a great holiday season. Hope the New Year brings nothing but good. Be thinking of you in the warm as we look at the snow outside here.

  4. Happy New Year Ron and Kathy! May enjoy a safe and fulfilling 2013 sailing season.
